my computer is being really lame right now

so we bought a laptop with our christmas money. i'm on the desktop computer right now, though, and wishing i weren't. but the desk space is so much nicer when i need to consult books, like i do when working on my case study. right now braden uses the laptop way more than i do, but i expect that to even out a little more when i start school again, which is on tuesday. i really don't want to go back right now. well, i'm just sick of school. but i do want to do something. i'm finding that being at home all day really sucks. i need something to do, and i haven't really been able to motivate myself about my case study, although i have worked on it some. i'm nowhere near where i wanted to be with it, but oh well. i really did need a break.

we may be leaving for washington earlier than previously thought, just because it seems to make more sense to do it that way as far as jobs go. then we both can start looking around for jobs earlier, and braden will be more likely to get a job at the hospital where he used to work if it's at the beginning of the summer.

braden's been studying for the LPN exam, which makes me happy. he'll take that...i don't know when he'll take it, but it will be before we move. he's already initiated the paperwork and should receive instructions on how to proceed in the mail. he'll take it here, but it will be for washington state.
