first day

it's the first official day of the semester. we're having walk-ins for the next two weeks, so things will be crazy at work for a little bit. my only class is tonight, so after tonight i won't have class again for a whole week...that's really nice.

i got more done on my case study yesterday that in any one day during break, mostly because i knew it would be the last real vacation day to do it. but i'll work on it some today before class, too.

we've been checking out moving quotes. we've unofficially decided on a company, since their price has been the lowest by far. we would pack the truck, and then they would drive it. we will probably drive our car to Washington instead of having them tow it and us flying out there, just because, well, i want to go on a road trip, and it will cost essentially the same or maybe less than flying. it will be a good segue into "real world" life, i think. it'll be a long drive, sure, but we'll have fun and get to visit some family and friends we haven't seen in a while.
